Health Models

In this section we present several models for evaluating health care.
  • First we discuss how stress causes biochemical changes throughout the body in the internal Stress Cycle, followed by a list of the major Causes of Stress.
  • Then we present a summary of the two major models used for dealing with the effects of stress: Eastern vs. Western Medicine, supported by extensive quotes from our favorite authors.
  • Finally we present two models of our own: a short description of how Natural Healing works (drawn heavily from Eastern Medicine), and Natural Health Model based on the Balance-Stress Relationship. We briefly illustrate how these 12 key elements causing stress interrelate and how to control them to maximize health. This model is presented to provide a coherent foundation for the Self Care Essentials (link above).
